I made Puffy Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

I was super craving cookies.
Especially after eating such a healthy dinner.
I found this recipe here.
They were really really good, I just kept munching on them.

Ingredients:
1/2 C Crisco(I used butter)        1/2 C White Sugar
1/4 C Light Brown Sugar, packed      1 Large Egg
1 Tbs Water     2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp Cinnamon       Pinch Salt(optional)
1/2 tsp Baking Soda     1-1/2 C All-Purpose Flour
3/4 C Peanut Butter Chips(or any other flavor you desire)

Step 1:
Mix together Crisco, Sugars, Egg, Water, and Vanilla until creamy.

Step 2:
Add Cinnamon, Salt, Baking Soda, Flour. Mix until just combined.

Step 3:
Fold in peanut butter chips by hand. Cover and refrigerate dough for 30 min.
Having the dough chilled is what makes them puffy.

Step 4:
Heat oven to 375, line cookie sheet with parchment paper, or something so they don't stick.
Form dough into about 1-inch balls and place on sheet, they don't spread much,
But they spread a little.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until barely brown.
Let cool and Enjoy.

Yum-Yum!!!! Perfect Snack for Olympics Watching

I made a Zucchini Skillet

That's right folks, I made dinner for the family.
Super weird, I know.
But, it turned out pretty good, I did tweak a few things.
I will write the original recipe though, which is also found here.

Ingredients:
1 tbs Canola Oil          1-1/2 C Zucchini; quartered lengthwise then sliced
1/2 C Green Bell Pepper; diced             1 can(15 oz) Black Beans; drained/rinsed
1 Can(14.5 oz) Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Garlic; undrained
3/4 C Water        1 C Instant Rice
1/2 C Shredded Cheese

Step 1:
I was using brown, doesn't cook fast rice. Start it before you start slicing up your veggies.
Heat Oil in large skillet over Medium heat. Make sure it's sizzlin'.
Add Zucchini and Bell Pepper- cook 5 minutes(or until a little roasted) stirring occasionally.

Step 2:
Add Beans and tomatoes and water.
I had fresh diced tomatoes from the garden, and I only added about 1/4 C Water.
I did sprinkle on some burrito seasoning to add some flavor.

Step 3:
Bring to a boil; and add rice. Stir well. Cover, remove from heat and let stand 7 min.
Or until liquid is absorbed. Sprinkle with Cheese.
I just boiled it until my rice was done cooking, then I added my brown rice. I mixed it a little bit then sprinkled on some cheese. My family also put some hot sauce on it to add some more flavor.

Done! And it's Healthy! Bonus!

I Made Southwest Corn on the Cob

I got this style of corn at Farmers Market.
I think it is the best way to eat corn-on-the-cob EVER!!
I think you will love it also. So try it out! I dare-dare-dare ya!

Ingredients:
Corn on the Cob
Mayo
Parmesan Cheese(the sprinkle kind)
Chili Powder
Lime

Cook your corn on the Cob:
Husk it, and boil it for like 6 minutes on the stove.
 Let it Cool/A Little Bit:
You want it warm enough to be tasty, cool enough to touch.
Making it Southwest:
Smear on the mayonnaise, you get to pick how much.
I usually do enough to fill in the cracks and a thin layer over all the kernels.
Sprinkle on the Chili Powder, again, depends how spicy you want it.
Sprinkle of the Parmesan Cheese.
Squeeze on the lime juice. The lime juice is a must have. It's so good.

I Made an Eye-Shadow Matte Nail Polish

So, I have been obsessed with the idea of Matte nail polish.
Unfortunately my funds are short, and I don't think it's worth buying it.
But, I do have a crazy amount of left-over colorful eye-shadow from Jr. High.
I also am on pinterest a lot and came across this awesome recipe.

Supplies:
Eye-Shadow(finely crushed)
Clear Nail Polish

What You Do:
Mix it up!! I just added a lil' clear polish until it was a glue-like consistency

Paint it On! So easy right? And it looks super cool and Stylish!!

I also learned a great way to remove nail polish.
It used to take me FOREVER until I found this.

Get Cotton Balls, unravel them. Yes you can unravel them.
Spread out until it's pretty thin.
Tear into sizes twice the size of  the nail I want to remove the polish from.
Pour polish into lid of remover.
Dip end of cotton into remover, make sure only about half or a little less gets remover on it.
Set on nail. Wait like 45sec-1min.
To remove push down on nail and slide off towards the end.
Most of it should come off! You can do a lil' touch up if needed.
This will easily remove base coat, color coat, design, and top coat.

I made Basalmic Spinach Tomatoes

I found this recipe on Pinterest and thought I'd try it out!
I don't like tomatoes so I thought this would be a good way to eat them.
They actually turned out pretty good.
I would maybe not soak them in basalmic vinaigrette as long,
or just make sure they are drained pretty well before baking.

Ingredients:
Tomatos       Basalmic Vinegar
Spinach          Minced Garlic
Dash of Salt/Lemon Juice
Cheese of your choosing

Step 1:
Slice tomatoes into thick slices and soak in Basalmic Vinegar for 1hr

Step 2:
Bake tomato slices for 7 min. at 350degrees.

Step 3:
Whilst cooking tomatoes sauté spinach with garlic and dashes of salt and lemon juice
You will need a lot more spinach then you think.

Step 4:
Top tomatoes with spinach and sprinkle with cheese. I used a cheese stick.
Broil until the cheese turns golden

Done!
I actually thought it was pretty good, and it looks really pretty.

I also did my nails for the Olympics. Check it! :)
